Professional Development Opportunities

Professional Development Reimbursement Form (PDF Download)

One of our goals at MWEC is to provide professional development that support your efforts in the classroom. This form will provide MWEC with the necessary information to approve your request. Once you complete the form, please fax it back to MWEC at 503-399-6979 and we will let you know of your approved status within three working days.

40 Developmental Assets

Each time you open your classroom door and invite students in you are helping to develop positive characteristics in the life of that young person. Career Events

Each year, more than 5,000 students throughout Marion, Polk, and Yamhill counties participate in career exploration events. These include: career fairs, job shadowing, job interview fairs, ork experiences, and internships. To learn more please email mwec@chemeketa.edu

 

Certificate of Employability

Businesses are always looking for great employees. Time and again, surveys of industry leaders show that they seek people that show up on time, work well with others, are willing to learn, and are interested in hard work. The Certificate of Employability helps young people learn these skills and more. Learn more about the certificate and get your students involved.
